Nigeria's First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan on Sunday revealed that an undisclosed ailment which required a major operation and took her to several hospitals is a desperate search for solution, miraculously disappeared as soon as her husband lost the 2015 Presidential election.
Though she was due for a major operation after the election, she said that tests carried out in hospitals abroad showed that she was healthy and no longer required any operation.
She disclosed that she went through a major operation abroad in between campaigns in January. Sections of the media quoted her as saying she underwent as much as 12 operations to save her life.
The First Lady who who spoke at the Aso Villa Chapel, thanked God for making it possible for her and her husband to leave office healthy and alive.
On his part, Jonathan who noted that no system including his administration is perfect, urged Nigerians to find it in their heart to forgive him in any way he has erred.
