Checkout Confidential Letters From APC to Senate President Bukola Saraki and Speaker Dogara

Nigeria Senate President, Bukola Saraki on Thursday announced Senator Ali Ndume in defiance of the decision of the All Progressives Congress (APC), which in a confidential letter to Senator Saraki dated 23 June 2015, tipped Senator Ahmed Lawan for the position.

Breaking Times has exclusively obtained the confidential letter, which was signed by the APC National Chairman, John Odigie Oyegun.

A similar letter obtained by Breaking Times was sent to the Speaker of the House of Representatives. Fighting broke in the chambers of the House of Representatives Thursday over the Speaker’s refusal to implement the directives of the APC leadership.

The Senate on Wednesday rejected a move by some All Progressives Congress (APC) Senators to read the letter from the APC leadership recommending some senators to occupy specific principal officers of the senate.
