A National Commissioner with the Independent National Electoral Commission, Prof. Muritala Salau, has passed away, he died at the age of 67. Salau who was a Professor of Physics, was also a former Vice-Chancellor of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso.
He died at the Turkish Hospital, Abuja, where he went to treat a sickness on Saturday. He has since been buried in Mioniya, Ibadan according to Muslim rites.
